May 8, 2025 – Habemus Papam!
On May 8, 2025, the Catholic Church welcomed a new Pope. Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost was officially elected and took the papal name Pope Leo XIV. This historic moment marks a new chapter not only for the Catholic faithful but for the entire world seeking hope, peace, and renewal through strong spiritual leadership.
As part of the academic community of STKIP Persada Khatulistiwa Sintang, particularly the English Language Education Study Program, we joyfully welcome the new Holy Father. Let us pray that Pope Leo XIV may be blessed with wisdom and strength to lead the universal Church with love, courage, and unwavering faith.
